Integrated Project - Infectious Disease Unit
All Biotech Academy freshman will begin studying Epidemics and Infectious Diseases. They will study infectious diseases from different perspectives in each class. A final project (iMOVIE Presentation) will require that students have a breadth of knowledge about a specific infectious disease and the impact of epidemics on society. Indian Trail Academy 1:1 Program Begins Year Two
Indian Trail Academy is the first public high school in Wisconsin to initiate a one laptop computer per student program. The computers are not just used for internet access and creating school related documents. During the 2007-08 school year the students used their laptops to graph data points, produce video lab reports and take measurements using Vernier science probes. I hope to do even more this year with the 2008-09 freshman class. Your patience and constructive feedback will be greatly appreciated.
