Catch One Of Our 2 Free Photoshop/Photography Shows Today

Hey everybody, I’ve been pretty busy planning and working on two shows I have to do today so it’s a light blog day. But I figured I’d at least let ya know what shows we have since they’re both free.

First, it’s the popular Blind Critique day on The Grid. Scott and I will be joined by landscape, travel, and humanitarian photographer Colby Brown, so those are the types of images we’ll be choosing for the critique. If you’d like to have your travel and landscape photos considered for today’s blind critiques (we show your images but don’t mention your name on the air), just leave us a link to your images AT THIS ADDRESS: http://kelbytv.com/thegrid/critique/

That’s the only place we’ll be picking images from, so don’t leave a comment here to submit your photos. Go there and pay close attention to the instructions at the top of the page for the best chance at being picked for critique. We’ll pick 20 or so photographers’ work to go over on the show, and the live show is broadcast today at 4:00 pm ET. Next up is our live Photoshop World-athon this evening at 7:30pm. It’s 90-minutes of cool Photoshop tricks to give folks an idea of what it’s like to be at the Photoshop World Conference & Expo (coming up in Orlando on April 17-19 at the Orange County Convention Center).

    Great cast thank you I learned a lot, although I’m bummed you didn’t get to my photos. Do you usually have a lot of submissions? Also I couldn’t for the life of me figure out how the prizes worked. I did the twitter thing but don’t see anyone else doing it and I don’t see the list of prizes anywhere. I think that could be made a little more clearer right on the Grid web site.

      Hi Rebecca – Sorry we didn’t get to your photos. We get about 700 submissions each week. As for the contest, we don’t post it live since its a huge influx of people (thousands).

        Whoa okay it’s good to know the numbers of people participating, thanks! Regardless it was honestly really helpful even if I didn’t see mine. Hope to see a critique again soon.
