Heading To Oklahoma City Today

Hey everyone. I’m heading to Oklahoma City today for my Kelby Training Lightroom seminar tomorrow. In the midst of working all day, frantically packing, helping the kids with homework, basketball practice etc… I never wrote a blog post for today (sorry). But hopefully (like how I said “hopefully”), I’ll have some time on the plane today to get a post up for tomorrow.

In the meantime, if you’re in Austin, TX, I’ll be there next week. I’ll also be in Artlington, TX and Atlanta, GA in February and Phoenix in March for the same Lightroom seminar (I don’t have any scheduled dates past March yet). You can check out the seminar page here for a full video of what the day covers.

Have a great Thursday!

Hi Matt, hope that you have great trip! Matt, question about Lightroom 4 or 4.3. I’ll edit my photos without presets and come time to export them, it looks like they are being exported and all of sudden a window appears say “Source Export Operations Were Not Performed.” Inside the window will show the The Files could not be written and outside the box below will show Save, Show in Library, on the bottom right a Ok in blue blinking on and off. If anyone had this problem, if you could please help. Sincerely, John

Hey Matt… your dates on the web page don’t go past Feb. Do you know which date in March is for Phoenix?

Hi. It’s March 22nd. I’m sure they’ll update the page soon.

Hey Matt, it was great meeting you yesterday in OKC and getting a goofy pic with you.

You mentioned that Aperture has better slideshows. I’ve never used Aperture. My question is: can the images imported into Aperture be accessed through the finder? And also if they are processed by another App, is that image updated when Aperture launches?

Hey Jim – great meeting you :)
Yes the images can be accessed through the finder. But Aperture won’t see any updates to the image from other programs (like Lightroom). Thanks :)
