I Got Nothin’

Hey everyone. I was going to try to give you a quick update from Day 1 at PhotoPlus in New York but, well, it ain’t happening. So basically, I got nothin’. It was a busier day than I thought and I have a photo shoot in the morning (my first portrait shoot with the D800). I’ll be sure to let you know how it goes though.

I did, however, manage to get my headshot taken by world the world renown Peter Hurley. All I can say is man… that guy rocks! It’s amazing the expressions that he elicits and how he works with people. Seriously, I’ve never seen anyone do it like him. I’ll post the headshot and the story next week (after some severe retouching) ;)

And if you’re in NY this weekend at Photoplus and see me wandering around aimlessly, please stop me and say hi.

Have a great weekend!

Are you sticking around for Frankenstorm or are you doing a before and after? You can do a tip on keeping the camera and lens dry. Or you can follow one of the storms from east Florida up the coast to where it meets the other 2. Don’t see much on documentary photography.

Matt, even when you think you’ve got nothing, you’re making a huge impact. I’ve been watching ALL your training videos over at kelbytraining and I am learning so much from you. Thank you for taking the time to make them – you’re a great teacher!
