Wednesday Stuff – The Grid, Hatin’ on HDR, And A New Lightroom Video

Hey everyone. Busy day today, so there’s not much in the bloggy world. A couple of things I’ll be up to on Wednesday though:
1) First, my good friend Brian Matiash is here from onOne Software and he’ll be co-hosting The Grid with me today at 4pm EST. Our topic: HDR photo critiques along with some discussion on the world’s continuing love/hate relationship with HDR photography. Brian has some really good views, and I’ve got some thoughts that I’ve been wanting to share on why I don’t process HDR photos anymore. Should get interesting
You can submit HDR photos for us to critique using this link here.
And you can tune in live at 4pm using this link.
2) Next, I did a new Lightroom video over on my Lightroom website. This comes from a question I got about customizing presets. To help keep you from jumping around websites, I also embedded the video here on the page below if you wanna check it out.
3) Brian, Pete Collins and I saw Looper tonight. I give it a solid 7-ish. It was pretty good and kept me interested enough. I know a lot of people didn’t like the ending, but I was cool with it. Then again, I’m a pretty easy going movie-goer. Give me a big Coke Zero, soft pretzel and some Snowcaps, and I’ll watch anything for two hours and be happy with it
Don’t forget to tune in live on The Grid today at 4pm EST. Have a good done!
