Gear Porn This Week on “The Grid”

If you missed our weekly live talk show, The Grid, then you’ll definitely want to catch the rebroadcast of the show (video is below). I was joined by RC Concepcion (shown below in his patented “stick-em-up!” pose) and our topic was Gear Porn.

Basically, we talked about our gear for an hour. We took questions about our favorite camera bags, tripods, ballheads, lighting and which lens we absolutely couldn’t do without. We actually talked about a bunch of gear, and even some of our favorite software and hardware too. The show airs live on Wednesday’s at 4pm EDT but you can always watch the rebroadcast of the show (which is below) for free if you can’t see it live. Have a great weekend everyone!

Matt, I watched the Grid, and was interested in that lens you are excited about, the 16-35 Nikon for landscapes. It seems to make a lot of sense, however for a graphics guy who uses a camera once in awhile, is there a less expensive lens out there that you might recommend for my entry level Nikon DSLR? BTW, I love your photo of Mt. Hood, I shot it at 25,000 feet from a USAF bird about 40 years ago… no where near as nice as your photo!
